The EFCF does not employ paid staff and is managed and run by volunteers. Our capacity to deliver services is dependent on our volunteers. The ‘value added’ work of our volunteers averages 60,000 Euro per annum. The annual value to the EFCF of the Donations in Kind, tend to vary from as little as 250 Euro and up to 2,500 Euro or more in any one year. Examples of donations in kind include: sponsoring the costs of conference venues, meals and further accommodation.
Annual Budget
- our Annual Budget is circa 10,000 Euro per annum (excluding the annual EFCF Conference, which is self-funding);
- our income is from four sources in order of priority: Membership fees, Generated Income, Fundraising and Sponsorship;
- our expenditure is in four main areas: Service delivery (website, newsletter, database, network, advice), Volunteer and Working Group costs, Governance and Development, and Miscellaneous, (including: insurance, taxes, currency costs and bank charges). In person Board Meetings take place a weekends and coupled with a series Skype meetings, minimises our governance and development expenditure.
